Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance Chooses Cloud-Based Property and Casualty Software Offered by Accenture
NEW YORK; May 13, 2014 – Accenture (NYSE: ACN) announced an agreement with Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) to deploy the Duck Creek Suite through a Software as a Service (SaaS) model to support the insurer’s policy, claims and billing functions. The fully integrated system will be hosted by the Accenture Cloud Platform and will enable BHSI to consolidate and streamline business processes on a single hosted platform, helping the insurer to quickly adapt to changing market demands, enhance customer service and maintain competitively lower operating costs.
