Liberty Mutual, tech firm partner on comp claims platform
Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. has partnered with tech company Duck Creek Technologies LLC to develop a new workers compensation claims platform, the company announced in a news release Monday.
The multiyear partnership will involve the creation of a fully integrated workers comp claims management system that blends functional and technical capabilities, said Boston-based Liberty Mutual.
The system will allow Liberty to replace its two legacy systems with a single platform that the company said will add value to its workers comp policyholders and clients of its third-party administrator, Helmsman Management Services LLC, according to the release.
The company said it selected Boston-based Duck Creek because of its mature software as a service product and ability to develop a custom solution with a codeless configuration.
The release did not state when the platform is expected to be available.
