Agencyport Software® Takes Home Five ACORD Standards Awards from ACORD2015

Boca Raton, FL – November 5, 2015 – Agencyport Software®, a leading provider of web-based solutions for property and casualty insurers, was granted five awards by ACORD for leadership in the standards. The awards were presented to Agencyport at ACORD2015 in Boca Raton earlier this week.

Agencyport received the following:

• An ACORD Leadership Organization Award was accepted by Agencyport CEO Curt Stevenson for overall leadership in standards development, implementation and advocacy.
• Agencyport’s Jamie Steward and Caleen Alexanderson each accepted an ACORD Leadership for an Individual Award for their dedication and volunteer work within the ACORD community. Steward chairs the XML 2.0 Working Group and Alexanderson chairs the Coverage Implementation Working Group and participates in several other groups. She is also an ACE Trainer and proctor of ACE exams.
• The 2015 ACORD Momentum Award, which recognizes fresh and innovative approaches to the use of existing ACORD products, was received by both Caleen Alexanderson and Jack Elliot. Alexanderson’s award was for her work creating Cyber Liability data standards and Elliot’s for collaboration on comparative rating and submissions for small and mid-market commercial lines.
• In addition to the awards, Lisa Gilgan, Director of Training at Agencyport, was named Co-Chair of the ACE Certification Committee for P&C. This group’s focus is to improve the ACE certification program. For details, visit www.acord.org/ace, or www.agencyport.com.
