INTERTEL Medical Canvassing (Claims)

Overview

INTERTEL is a leading provider of medical and social canvass data to the insurance industry. INTEREL serves insurance companies, self-insured companies and third-party administrators around the world and provides secure, consistent and quality information to the claims industry.

The INTERTEL Order Integration with Duck Creek Claims enable insurers to securely initiate medical canvass requests, saving time as claim information auto-populates eliminating the need to retype claimant information.  The INTERTEL AEI also tracks all details related to medical canvass and provides status update and notifications until the medical canvass report is securely uploaded to Duck Creek Claims. 

Dependencies for Package

The following tools and packages are required for correct implementation of the package.

Tools Needed to Complete the Package Installation

The following tools are needed to complete the package installation:

  • SQL Server Management Studio
  • Visual Studio 2017+, .Net 4.6.2+
  • Duck Creek Claims Studio
  • Postman (or some other web API tool to create http requests)

Dependencies

To use this package, you must also have Duck Creek Claims v11.0.0.6+ and the following.

  • SQL Server Management Studio
  • Duck Creek Example Server
  • Duck Creek Example User Admin
  • Kayak Middleware

Installing the Package

After you are granted access to the Content Exchange packages you requested, use the Content Exchange Package Utility to install the package. This utility can be run on the server or on your local machine.

To install a package:

  1. Download and install version 3.5.0 of the Content Exchange Package Utility
  2. Once installed, open the utility and use it to install or unzip your downloaded packages. Learn more about using this utility.
    Some packages are completely installed by the Content Exchange Package Utility while others still require some manual steps. The documentation provided with each package includes any manual steps required to successfully install that package.
