Gartner Positions Accenture as a “Leader” in 2015 Magic Quadrant for Property and Casualty Insurance Claims Management Modules

August 12, 2015
Second consecutive year in Leaders quadrant, evaluated on Ability to Execute and Completeness of Vision

NEW YORK; Aug 12, 2015 – For the second consecutive year, Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has been positioned as a “Leader” in  Gartner, Inc.’s Magic Quadrant for Property and Casualty Insurance Claims Management Modules for its Duck Creek Claims software1. The report evaluated eight global vendors that support full end-to-end claims management and issuance functionality, from first notice of loss to claims payment or settlement.

Gartner’s Jeff Haner, principal research analyst and author of the report, noted that “the market continues to reflect a strong buyer preference for licensing claims as part of a modular core solution suite…. All of the vendors in this Magic Quadrant offer claims management modules that can be deployed as part of a suite, all modules support multiple languages, and all vendors are – at least opportunistically – pursuing business in multiple regions.”

“We believe that to be recognized by Gartner as a Leader for property and casualty insurance claims management modules for the second time is an honor and supports our strategy of enabling insurers to better manage their claims operation and deliver exceptional service when it’s most needed,” said Patti Griffin, global product lead, Accenture Duck Creek. “Through a focus on continuous product development excellence, we apply the latest technology that helps clients make rapid, informed decisions to meet the growing demands of customers.”

Accenture Duck Creek Claims is included in a suite that also incorporates billing, policy and rating software. The configurable software is designed to work independently or as a combined unified approach to manage all aspects of the P&C insurance lifecycle. Value can be attained via on-premise software or Duck Creek On-Demand, a Software as a Service model.
