Matt Bates is Senior Vice President, Information Technology for Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance. For the past 8 years, he and his team have focused on the deployment of over 220 Specialty products on the Duck Creek Policy System. They have leveraged the Duck Creek On Demand model to utilize a single instance of Duck Creek to support Policy users across 12 countries (so far!).

Matt has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. Prior to his current position, he led multiple Duck Creek implementations and managed over 12 legacy policy systems with Tower Group Companies, and also worked to implement Policy Administration Systems for Allenbrook. Matt has a degree in Civil Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
