How do I register for Formation ‘22?

What does my Registration Fee cover?

Both virtual and in-person will provide you with sessions designed to keep you competitive and on track in 2022. Both registrations have access to the general sessions, and sessions on-demand. If you choose to attend in person, you will have access to the breakout sessions, optional networking events, including a golf tournament or a cornhole tournament, a welcome reception, the W.I.N.E. event, and an evening celebration on Monday night. Dinner is provided Sunday and Monday; breakfast and lunch will be available Monday and Tuesday for in-person participants only.

Who can attend Formation ‘22?​

Formation ’22 is limited to P&C and general insurance carriers, Duck Creek customers, partner sponsors, industry analysts, media and invited guests.

Can I bring a guest?​

One guest per in-person attendee is permitted for a fee of $150, which allows them the option to participate in the golf tournament or cornhole tournament and evening events only. Guests must be 21+. Each guest must be accompanied by a paying Formation ’22 registration holder, and the guest must be registered with the attendee registration. The guest pass does not include access to sessions, breakfasts or lunches or any other activities reserved for attendees.

What are the conference dates/hours?

  • The dates of the conference are Sunday, March 6 – Tuesday, March 8, 2022​
  • The fun starts on Sunday, March 6 with an optional Golf tournament at 12:00 PM or a Cornhole tournament at 2:00 PM​
  • For developers who are interested in participating in the Hatch-a-Thon, this will begin at 8:00 AM on Sunday, March 6.  ​
  • The Launchpad will open at 6:00 PM on Sunday, March 6 with a Welcome Reception to follow​
  • General session will start Monday, March 7 at 8:30 AM​
  • The Customer Celebration Party (Yacht Rock 70s Party) will begin at 7:00 PM on Monday, March 7​
  • Formation will conclude at 12:15 PM on Tuesday, March 8 (the general sessions and breakouts)​

What is happening on Sunday?​

Registration is open at 8:00 AM. The Hatch-a-Thon kicks off. If you’d like to play a round of golf, we have a scramble golf tournament starting at 12:00 PM at the Shingle Creek Golf Club located at the hotel. Or join us for a fun cornhole tournament at 2:00 PM on the lawn at the hotel. At 6:00 PM the Launchpad opens and a reception will follow at 7:00 PM. 

Where is Formation ‘22?​

Orlando, Florida at Rosen Shingle Creek and online for those that would like to attend virtually. ​

What is the weather in Orlando during March?​

What will be available online?​

General sessions will be live-streamed online and breakout sessions will be available on-demand. Attendees can network online with each other and even participate in the general sessions by asking questions live and can participate in session polling questions. All sessions will be recorded and available online for 90 days after the event. ​

​What is your Covid-19 policy?​

As of today, masks are optional but strongly encouraged. We will continue to monitor the situation and follow all CDC, state, and local guidelines and will update accordingly. We ask that all attendees who are displaying symptoms of COVID-19 or have recently been exposed to anyone who has tested positive, not attend in-person and attend our virtual experience (please email Kate Lynde if you find yourself in this situation). If your plans have changed, please email Kate immediately for planning purposes. ​

How do I login to view or modify my registration?​

Please log into Cvent via your confirmation email. ​
The Cvent system may need your confirmation number, that is the number found on your confirmation email.

Your confirmation number is in the registration confirmation email. You can also request it through the system by clicking on the “Forgot Your Confirmation Number?” link. ​

Once you log in, you’ll see your Registration Summary page. Click on “Modify Registration” to add or remove optional items to your agenda.

When will the detailed agenda be made available? ​

In late January we will notify all registrants to login to view the agenda and select their sessions. ​

What is the theme for the Monday evening event?​

Join us for a fun 70s theme evening with the music provided by Yacht Rock Revue, sponsored by Coforge.​

What is the recommended conference attire?​

Recommended attire is business casual. The Monday-themed event is 70s yacht music; feel free to dress up in a relaxed 70s vibe! ​

What meals are included?​

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided for in-person conference attendees during the event. Guests are welcome to attend the evening events. Please indicate any dietary requirements on the registration form.​ No meals are provided for virtual attendees.

What is your cancellation policy?

We fully recognize that every individual’s situation is different — and that conditions are in flux. Duck Creek is working hard to ensure your safety and comfort is taking care of to attend Formations ‘22 in-person. As a result, we have implemented a flexible registration policy. After you register, if you feel unable to attend the live event, you can contact us for a Virtual Transfer (information below).  Should you need to cancel fully, full refunds are available if you cancel before 12 PM EST Friday, March 1  ​2022. 

​Virtual Transfer

If you wish to transfer your participation from in-person participation to virtual participation, you may do so once at no cost only by providing written notice sent to Kate Lynde by Friday, March 1  ​2022. You will receive a refund for the balance. If you have booked a hotel room, please CANCEL directly with the hotel by calling  1-866-996-6338. If such written notice is not provided within the date listed then transfer fees may apply. ​

What will happen if Duck Creek cancels the in-person conference?

Formation ‘22 is unable to hold the in-person component due to COVID-19 or other related reasons, then in-person participation shall automatically transfer to virtual participation at no additional charge, and the balance will be refunded to you.​

On-Site Covid Procedures

We will be providing a red/yellow/green system for onsite attendees to wear should they choose to indicate comfort level in a crowd. The staff at Rosen Shingle Creek will be in masks, and sanitizing stations will be readily available. We will also be providing masks on-site, should you want to wear one, and we are leveraging the outside space at the hotel for as many activities as possible, as well as streaming the General Session to areas outside of the conference room should you want to watch from a distance.

Testing for Covid

We highly recommend taking an at-home Covid test before traveling to the event, and please remain vigilant of your state and country travel policies.

Duck Creek Technologies is working to secure on-site testing that will be available to all attendees, should this option become available we will alert all in-person attendees.
