Matt is Head of Digital Distribution, Atrium Underwriting at Lloyd’s of London, he is responsible for transitioning the business to offering more products online and underwriting more digitally. Matt manages the portal launched by Atrium in 2005, which was one of the first to enable Coverholders in the US to trade direct with a Lloyd’s Syndicate. Matt has 30 years Insurance and software experience, having started his career in Lloyd’s as a broker and in 1995 worked with IBM for an underwriting Syndicate on a pioneering Online Insurance solution. Matt founded a software business in 2000, which was later sold in 2007 after growing to 145 people. He returned to Lloyd’s with Atrium in 2011. Matt is passionate about online product distribution and CRM as well as rugby (but much more as an armchair fan now).
