Dennis Dix



Dennis loves to break things and considers himself a “constructive disruptor.” One of his favorite expressions is “we can do anything we want so long as we don’t break the law.” He started his career in public accounting, working with the Jacksonville Jaguars to ultimately secure an expansion franchise. Quickly realizing it was more fun to influence the numbers than report on them, he transitioned to blue-chip companies including Procter & Gamble, Stanley Black & Decker, and Intuit before arriving at Employers Holdings. Across these companies and roles, his primary focus was on leveraging process & technology to improve customer experience and lower operating costs.

To this day Dennis considers himself an insurance outsider with just enough information to be dangerous. As a founding member of the Cerity leadership team he was tasked with brand development, digital marketing & advertising strategy, Duck Creek policy & billing configuration, and operations. Dennis currently serves as Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, leading all aspects of product management, pricing & underwriting, marketing, and member services. Dennis holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Wake Forest University and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Bryant University.
