Mara Deshaies

Mara began her MedPro Group career in 2002, as an underwriter within the physician and surgeon book assessing risk and assuring profitable growth. In 2007, Mara assumed the position of Underwriting Operations Leader, assuring execution of business needs in conjunction with IT and Operations.  In 2015, she then assumed the position of Operations Leader focusing on streamlining the company’s operational infrastructure and to bring up a new PAS platform.

In 2017, MedPro Group made the decision to focus on digital presence and selected Duck Creek as the partner for policy and billing systems.  Mara became the MedPro Group Experience Platform Leader for Duck Creek to use her underwriting and operations knowledge to lead a team to work on the delivery of this large-scale system implementation.

Mara attended Purdue University, graduating with a BS in Organizational Leadership and Supervision in 2000. Since joining MedPro, Mara has also obtained her CPCU and RPLU insurance designations and become a certified Duck Creek Author Developer.
