Billing Configuration through Product Studio

Overview

This Marketplace Product Studio Billing Configuration setup works with Billing 2015, and includes the following functionality:

  • Rapid Change Index of the Billing Product for Account & Policy Configuration to show the configuration points within the Billing Field Guide for Configuration Settings.
  • Rapid Change Index of the Billing Product for Follow-up Configuration to show the configuration points within the Billing Field Guide feature Follow Up Manager.
  • Wizard to load the Billing Product, also creates the Carrier layer ManuScripts for Account and Policy if they do not exist and updates the appropriate ManuScript tables with the new codes.
  • Wizard to create new Pay Plans, wizard makes change and then refreshes the index to show the change – wizard answers are stored as a requirement for future reference.
  • Table Editor ability to modify table data for Bill Class Dependency tables and Follow Up tables.

Installing the Package

After you are granted access to the Content Exchange packages you requested, use the Content Exchange Package Utility to install the package. This utility can be run on the server or on your local machine.

To install a package:

  1. Download and install version 3.5.0 of the Content Exchange Package Utility. 
  2. Once installed, open the utility and use it to install or unzip your downloaded packages. Learn more about using this utility.
    Some packages are completely installed by the Content Exchange Package Utility while others still require some manual steps. The documentation provided with each package includes any manual steps required to successfully install that package.
